PRIDE, please join me in welcoming our new PRIDE of Mayfield auxiliary advisor, Mrs. Kayleigh Becker!
We are fortunate to have an advisor with her background and experience, I am excited for her to meet the band! Here is a word from Mrs. Becker:
"As a Mayfield grad and former Catette, Kayleigh Becker is so excited to be joining the PRIDE of Mayfield this year as the auxiliary advisor! Coach Becker is a graduate of the University of North Carolina - Charlotte and has earned her bachelor's degree in Dance Education. While in university, Coach Becker has presented dance works around the state of North Carolina, notably at the North Carolina Dance Educator's Organization Annual Conference and at the American College Dance Association Regional Conference. She has also danced in works choreographed by faculty at UNC-Charlotte, stage managed for UNC-Charlotte's dance department and around Charlotte, NC, and been teaching regularly in the private studio setting since August 2016. She is certified through the North Carolina Department of Education and Ohio Board of Education to teach PreK-12 Dance. Since graduation, Coach Becker has become an Acrobatic Arts and Youth Protection Advocates in Dance certified teacher. Currently she is teaching at two studios in the Northeast Ohio area and you may have even seen her in the Mayfield classrooms as a substitute over the past two years. Coach Becker looks forward to meeting each of you and working with the rest of the marching band staff to put on some awesome shows! Go Cats!"
