Hello PRIDE,

We will be running our annual marching band student/parent meeting Wednesday, May 29th, at 7:00pm in the Mayfield High School cafeteria.

ALL students, as well as their parents/guardians, that are members of the marching band for the 2024/2025 school year are required to attend this meeting.  We will cover critical information regarding communication, schedules, and expectations.

The PRIDE of Mayfield is excited to welcome our new auxiliary advisor Ms. Lisa George to the band family!

Lisa George has been part of the Mayfield City Schools family for many years as a second grade teacher at Millridge Elementary. She lives in Chesterland with her daughters, Allison (University of Dayton - Master’s in Engineering program) and Natalie (Lake Erie College - PA program).  When the opportunity to be the Mayfield band’s auxiliary advisor came up, she jumped at the chance. She hasn’t missed any of her daughters’ parades, performances, or football games in seven years and is so excited to now focus her time and energy into guiding Mayfield’s auxiliary team!

Hello PRIDE!

The PRIDE of Mayfield Drumline is gearing up for our 2024/2025 marching season.

Drumline clinics will be held Thursday, May 23rd, from 5:30pm-8:30pm in the High School New Band Room.  ALL percussionists that are currently in the 8th-11th grade are expected to attend.

Drumline auditions will be held Tuesday, May 28th, from 5:30pm-8:30pm in the High School Old Band Room.  ALL percussionists that are currently in the 8th-11th grade are expected to attend.

More information regarding music will follow from our marching band drumline advisor Mr. Jelen.

Student Arrival/Check-in: 6:30p-7:00p, ALL students attending must arrive by 7:00pm to door #19

​The Band Boosters will provide food and games throughout the night. 3 TV's will be available for students to hook up video games to. (video games/connections provided by students)

Student Pickup/Check-out: 11:30p-12:00a, ALL students must be picked up by 12a from door #19

Good afternoon PRIDE,

The Band Finale will take place tomorrow, May 4th, directly following our 5:30p performance at the fine arts showcase!

If the weather does not cooperate we will perform inside.  Band boosters will be providing food and drinks for all band members as well as the video game truck and an inflatable game!  Thank you Boosters!

Finale dress will be show shirts and what ever you are comfortable with on the bottom.

The Mayfield High School Band Boosters will be hosting our annual Band Lock-in on Friday, May 10th, in the field house at the high school.

6:30pm - Lock-in begins
12:00am - Lock-in ends

More details will follow regarding signing up for the lock-in.  Student safety is our number one priority.

Hello PRIDE,

In conjunction with our Fine Arts Showcase performance, we will be holding our Marching Band Finale on Saturday, May 4th following our 5:30p performance at the showcase.  After we are done playing for the showcase we will parade out to the stadium and hold our Marching Band Finale.

More details to come regarding the food and fun the Band Boosters are planning!!

I expect that the finale will start around 6pm in Wildcat Stadium.

Hello PRIDE,
We are excited for the first year of our new Mayfield Fine Arts Showcase!

Please see below for information regarding the event and performance times.

Students are expected to call 30 minutes prior to their performance times to the Old Band room.  Normal concert attire is expected.  I encourage all families to come and enjoy all of the artwork and performances from across the district!

Hello PRIDE,

We will be marching in the annual Cleveland St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, March 17th.

Call time: 11:15am at the HS

Parade step-off: 2:04pm (we are in the 1st division and will be toward the beginning of the parade)

A REMIND message will be sent when we are departing downtown to return to Mayfield.  I would expect that we should be back between 4pm and 5pm, but that is not guaranteed. 

We will continue to monitor the weather and make the best decisions we can for uniform dress.  YOU ARE responsible for being prepared for the weather in regards to what you wear under you uniform.
